Council met on Tuesday, September 9th. We did not meet quorum, so no action was taken; however, we continued with valuable presentations and table discussion.
We heard from resident Miguel Gamino, who introduced his new app, SuperCity, which may provide residents with an easier way to stay connected with city updates and services. Our City Administrator will continue to explore this as an option to enhance the use of our website. As always, most up to date information can be found at www.thehillstx.gov

Community Events:
- Sunday, September 21: Movie Night in the Park featuring E.T. at dusk. Bring chairs, blankets, snacks, and enjoy!
- Sunday, October 5, 2–6 PM: Our annual Hills Fest – Hills City Limits with music, food, fun, and even some new city merchandise available for purchase.
- Tuesday, October 7, 5-7 PM: National Night Out - come to the park to explore all the services being provided by the wonderful teams at Lake Travis Fire & Rescue, Constables Office and ATCEMS.
Council Updates:
- We acknowledged Matt Marietta's resignation from council. Those interested in applying for the open seat which will be appointed should email helpdesk@thehillstx.gov by Monday 9/15. Please also feel free to reach out to myself and current council members. The term is through November 2026.
- Our next meeting will be Thursday, September 18 at 5PM, where we will hold a public hearing and vote on the tax rate and budget. We also expect to revisit the business items from the September 9th agenda.
